he walks around the house
but i don't recognize him
is he a stranger from the sidewalks?
i know i'd treat someone i don't know better than i treat him.
and maybe he doesn't deserve what i think of him
but he definitely hasn't shown that he cares.
treat people as you want to be treated.
i don't go around expecting kindness from everyone.
i find it a chore, tiresome to keep up this facade that i'm actually really interested in everyone's life.
i care, but i don't want to speak.
i'd listen but i won't comment.
